福祉ショップ さんまるしぇ(Sun Marché)
Attached to the Meguro Ward Megurohoncho Welfare Workshop, Sun Marché is a tranquil cafe space offering weekday daily bento and salmon bento alongside varied drinks and handmade baked treats.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Located in a corner of the Meguro Ward Megurohoncho Welfare Workshop, Sun Marché is a calm cafe and shop that draws lunchtime visitors seeking home-style boxed meals on weekdays. Available in limited quantities from 11:00 on weekdays, the bento selection features a salmon option as well as a daily bento that rotates with thoughtful variety. Daily specials highlight carefully prepared mains such as grilled pork tenderloin with wholegrain mustard sauce, teriyaki hamburger steak, and Cajun-spiced chicken. These are neatly packed alongside comforting side dishes—such as dashi-infused braised vegetables and dressed seasonal greens—for an unassuming yet deeply nourishing midday meal. Hot miso soup or vegetable soup can also be added, making it an easy everyday staple.
For an afternoon break, the cafe's drink and dessert menu offers plenty to catch the eye. Alongside standard drip coffee and black tea, the lineup spans brown sugar roasted soybean flour lattes, roasted green tea lattes, tangy pomegranate ginger ales, and refreshing yuzu squash. The counter also features baked sweets, chiffon cakes, and breads produced by welfare facilities. Treats such as masala chai pound cake and soft melonpan can be enjoyed alongside a beverage in the dining area, each carrying the warmth of careful handiwork.
The interior is quiet, bright, and universally welcoming, complete with ramp access and a wheelchair-accessible restroom. Whether picking up a bento or baked treats to go, or taking a peaceful seat to sip a cold drink while admiring handcrafted displays, the cafe serves as a gentle neighbourhood perch where anyone can pause and unwind.
